Before Race day

Step 2 - Before Race

Send in your racer names

Create a spreadsheet with the following information, then save the spreadsheet as a CSV file (Comma separated file) and email to:

Last Name First Name Group Sub Group Car# Car Name Passed Inspection
Doe John Main Webelos 22 Lucky Yes

 and rename to: <RaceDate>-<Pack>.csv

Example: 02-21-09-Pack-123.CSV

Description of columns:

Group - Group the cars so they can race against each other in Round 1.

Sub Group - This allows you to figure out the placement of a cluster of racers from the larger Group. For instance, you may have awards for each Den. In this case, you would have sub groups for each Den. After the race is over, we can show placement by the subgroup and by the main group.

Car# - These MUST be numbers, no letters or leading zero's. You must ensure that the car numbers are not reused or the software will assign the next available number.

Car Name - Please don't make these too long, they will be hard to read on the projector.

Passed Inspection - This is a Yes or No (Y or N would do) answer. If you performed inspection of the cars and have already verified this, then they should all be Yes. This is something that can be done on race day. Car's must pass inspection before they can race.
